Birds of Bhigwan

Bhigwan is a town located approximately 110km from Pune. Kumbhargaon is a bird sanctuary located in Bhigwan . It is a perfect place for wildlife photographers who are interested in taking pictures of native and migratory birds. In the month of December 2022, a friend of mine – Ashish Kulkarni, his son Adit, me and Kaushal Brahma, decided to pay this sanctuary a visit and click some pictures. We had an overnight stay with Sandip Nagare of Agnipankh flamingo point, Kumbhargaon, who is a wonderful host and has been guiding tourists for many years.
